Casandra Karpiak - Owner, Buyer, Makeup Artist, Esthetician

Casandra, the makeup guru, is a member of the film union I.A.T.S.E. 891 in Vancouver and has worked on numerous films and television shows over the past ten years.  Casandra is also a freelance makeup artist for CBC Sports and has worked her magic on hundreds of brides in Los Angeles, Vancouver and currently provides incredible makeup services in-store and on-location here in Kamloops. Casandra also provides all in-store spa treatments and received her training in both Makeup Artistry and Esthetics at Blanche MacDonald in Vancouver.  Casandra also working at Beverly's the Spa on 4th in Kitsilano where she received a six month intensive training program specializing in facials.  When not busy at the store, Casandra spends her time with her husband Andrew and their pug Dodgy who is Beauty Code’s mascot!

Lisa Henson - Owner, Marketing, Makeup Artist

Lisa, the business guru and makeup protege, manages the business side of Beauty Code Boutique in addition to her love of makeup. Her experience in customer account management, sales and marketing in various industries has brought her to this next adventure and keeps Casandra on track!  Her family (husband Ian, daughter Airlie and son Noah) keep her busy outside of the store, but enjoys the store's frequent buying trips!

Janet Calhoun

Janet is Beauty Code's senior makeup artist who brings extensive experience to our store.  Janet Calhoun is a graduate of Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver, BC.  Her training includes makeup for film and T.V., special makeup effects, airbrushing, bridal and fashion makeup.  She has worked in Vancouver as a makeup artist since August 2000 and now brings her expertise to Kamloops, BC.  Janet and Casandra met on the film set of "Iron Road" in 2007 and have been working together ever since!  Janet has two adorable twin daughter’s Maeve and Neave who are already becoming Beauty Code clients!

Tara Badyk

Tara is Beauty Code's senior esthetician and is a graduate of both the Esthetics and Makeup Artistry Programs at Blanche MacDonald in Vancouver.  Tara worked at Beverly's the Spa on 4th in Kitsilano for 7 years doing a combination of spa treatments and enjoyed working with a variety of makeup and skincare lines. Four years ago she decided to make her way home and partnered up with a girlfriend to provide mobile spa services in the Vernon area.  Tara has now made her way to Kamloops and is excited to team up with the girls at Beauty Code Boutique and will be providing all on-site spa services.  Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with friends and family her boyfriend Chad and running with her sidekick Dexter!

Larissa Munegatto

Larissa Munegatto is Beauty Code's Senior Hair Stylist. Larissa was born and raised in Kamloops and has done advanced cut + color training with Redken. She excels in all color services including color corrections. Larissa has been a stylist for 6 years and is thrilled to take on more responsibility at Beauty Code's new hair bar. Outside of work, Larissa loves spending time with her big Italian family and making her yearly trip to Mexico!

Meghan Watson

Meghan Watson is Beauty Code's Senior Hair Stylist. Meghan has been working with the Redken line for 4 years and continually attends advanced Redken cut and color classes to keep up to date within the industry. Meghan loves working with fine and curly hair and helping her clients find the right product for their hair. When not working at Beauty Code, she loves to walk down to the river and take her dog Fly swimming. Meghan also loves spend time in her kitchen trying new recipes and is learning how to make her garden grow!

Dana Kushner

Dana graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April of 2004 with a diploma in massage therapy. She is registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and has some extended BC medical coverage with this association. She has been massaging now for six years and has experience with many different types of massage. She has taken her level 1 Cranio-Sacral and is continually taking courses to better herself as a massage practitioner. Dana loves what she does and the diversity of her job keeps her on her toes. Every person who walks through the door is different, so their massage plan is geared toward them. Dana is excited to start a new endeavour with Beauty Code Boutique and is looking forward to providing an enjoyable massage experience for current and future clients.
